Social Groups
Mark R. Hammond Associates will be hosting social groups this summer. A social group is a group of kids of similar ages interacting under the supervision and instruction of a speech-language pathologist. Our social groups follow a specific curriculum and include direct instruction, role playing, discussion, activities, social stories, comic strip conversations, and visuals. Following each group session, there is a brief parent information session and discussion relating to the group?s activities. The dates and times of the sessions will be determined based upon client interest and availability. We arrange social groups around topic interest and ages of the clients.
